Transportation

The public transportation at the Helsinki capital region has lines going to all SELL destinations. SELL 2012 organization offers all participants and volunteers a free HRT (Helsinki Region Transportation) ticket  which is valid during the whole event. Please note that at night time (02:00-04:30) the cost is 4,00 EUR / person if traveled inside Espoo city and 6,00 EUR / person in other HRT zones (you may pay to the bus driver when getting on to the bus).

Shuttle buses are only offered for orienteering locations on Saturday.

Public transport timetables are available at bus stops, at the Competition Center and at http://www.reittiopas.fi/en/ .

When arriving to Finland there will be a guide directing you/your team to the Games Village.

If you want to have a taxi in Espoo, you should call: +358 (0) 100 7300. The phone number for taxi in Helsinki is +358 (0)100 0700. Please note that taxi in Finland is quite expensive. As an example, a taxi ride from Otaniemi to Helsinki city center costs approximately 20 EUR.
