The main venue during the Games is the Competition Village in Otaniemi. In addition to Otaniemi, some sports take place in Espoonlahti, Leppävaara, Tapiola and Meilahti (in Helsinki).  More details on the specific sports venues can be found in the Sports section on these pages (click here). The opening ceremony will take place in Espoo, at Ratiopharm arena. Saturday’s BBQ as well as Friday’s SELL party are held in Otaniemi. On Saturday the “SELL party wagon” travels to the centre of Helsinki. For more information on the event venues, click here.
