PARTICIPATION

The games are open to students and former students (graduated in 2011) of higher educational institutions all over the world. Participants represent their own university or college. In team sports a team must consist of students or former students of one and the same university or college. There is no age limit for the participants. Registration is made through local contact person (see your local contact person from here) .

SIZE OF DELEGATION

There are no limits to the size of delegations. Maximum number of participants in sports may be defined in the rules of the respective sport.

ENTRY FEES

Participation fee of registrations before 20.3.2012: 25 €/person/day

Participation fee of registrations during 21.3.-25.4.2012: 30 €/person/day

Participation fee of registrations during 25.4.-11.5 the participation fee is 35 €/person/day

Registration for SELL Games 2012 closes 11.5.2012.

The fee includes:
1)  right to take part in competitions
2) meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

3) 4- day ticket to all public transportation (buss, tram, metro and train)
4) entrance to all competitions, cultural activities and ceremonies

Note! The participation fee is always paid in FULL days. A day is considered to start at 4pm and last until 4pm the next day. The 4-day travel ticket and  meals are always included in the price, whether they are used or not. However, please notify the organizers if meals are not needed.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

The entry forms and the on-line registration will be published on the SELL 2012 –homepage in December 2011. As in the previous editions of the Games, early information about the number of participants is highly appreciated. The registration dates are:

General registration deadline 31.1.2012
1) preliminary entries ie. number of participants in each sport
2) booking of hotel rooms, if necessary

Final registration deadline 20.3.2012 (higher participation fee will applied after this date)
1) personal details of participants (name, DOB, photo)
2) invoicing participation fees and additional costs (for hotel accommodation)

Invoices are sent to contact persons by 6.4.2012 with a due date of seven days

Late entry deadline 25.4.2012
1) personal details of participants (name, DOB, photo)
2) traveling details
3) invoicing rest of the participation fees and extra transportation costs

Please note that the bank charges for foreign payments must be paid by the order (participants).

TERMS FOR PAYMENT AND CANCELLATIONS

Any changes in participation details should be updated to the registration program.

During the period of 1st April – 25th April

- to change a single participant to another person: make a change in the registration system. This has no reflect in the total number of participants and therefore there is no reflect on payment either

- to delete a participant: make a change in the registration system by updating the number of athletes/official on the General entry table and deleting personal details & photo. Change in the team size will be taken into account in payment. If total payment is already done, the respective sum for change will be returned.

- to add new participants/teams (= Late Enries): make a change in the registration system by updating the number of athletes/officials on the General entry table and filling in personal details (with photo). Slightly higher participation fee will be invoiced for these respective participants (see Entry fees above). Invoice will be sent out after the Late entry deadline (25.4.2012).

From 26th April until the Games

- change of participants is allowed

- for cancellations after 26th April there will be no refunds, so teams are primarily encouraged to find a substitute participant. Only in case of injury or sickness AND with a doctor’s certificate, participation fee will be returned.

BANK DETAILS

Contact persons will receive bank details (account number, reference number etc.) in the invoice that will be sent by email  by 6.4.
